Supporting the Teachers Who Inspire Them

At Brushes for Vincent, we believe supporting young artists also means supporting the teachers who encourage, challenge, and inspire them every day.

In partnership with Asheville Art Supply, we plan to offer free continuing-education classes and gatherings created especially for art teachers. These relaxed, welcoming sessions will give teachers a place to connect with one another, exchange ideas, share classroom successes and challenges, and simply enjoy making art together.

We also hope to partner with leading art supply manufacturers to introduce teachers to new materials, products, and techniques through hands-on demonstrations and workshops. Teachers will have the opportunity to experiment with supplies themselves, discover new ways to use them, and take those ideas back into their classrooms.

But these gatherings are about more than learning a new technique or trying a new product. Our goal is to create a genuine support community for art educators—a place where teachers can build relationships, encourage one another, recharge creatively, and remember why they fell in love with art in the first place.

When teachers are inspired, supported, and equipped, that enthusiasm reaches far beyond the classroom.
